3 Ways to stay Chafe Free

Posted on

Hello,

If you are a runner or exercise enthusiast, chances are at some point you have experienced chafing.  Rubbing on the skin thats causes chafing is extremely common but do you really know what you need to do to avoid it?

Chafing can happen anywhere on the body but the thighs, groin, underarms and nipples are particularly vulnerable.

Make sure you focus on these 3 steps to make chafing a thing of the past.

1.  STAY DRY.  Wet and sweaty skin can make chafing even worse.  Make sure you stay dry and comfortable at all times by choosing the correct clothing to help this.  Runderwear™ uses a highly technical moisture-wicking fabric to help wick moisture away from your skin which prevents chafing.

2.  NO COTTON.  To stop the risk of chafing choose synthetic fibres rather than cotton.  Cotton absorbs the moisture and keeps it close to your skin.  None of our Runderwear™ range uses Cotton because of this.

3.  CORRECT FIT.  This is very important to stay chafe free.  Choose products which work with the body that are designed to move with you.  Runderwear™ uses 8% of a high grade elastane so we can guarantee a perfect fit.

At Runderwear™ we believe that the first layer is the most important.  We believe everyone deserves to wear the most comfortable fabrics next to their skin.  We believe in innovating to engineer the best fit needed for ultimate comfort.  We believe by doing this you will achieve more.

This is why we have a Chafe-Free, Guarantee.

Have a great week everyone,

Healthy regards, run well.

Kiss Chaffing Goodbye!
They absolutely work well
Sizing - Lenght
Dear Sweaty Runner, thank you very much for your comments and we are glad you like the quality of the pants. I am sorry the length of the short boxers doesn't suit you. You are right that depending on where you chafe you might need a different garment. Short boxers would prevent chafing in the groin area, but not on the inner thigh as they don't reach that low. The long boxer would be better suited for chafing inner thighs!
